The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 states that employees are entitled to select at least one individual as a Safety Representative when the number of employees exceeds 20. Safety Representatives are the designated individual who will make representation to management with regard to Health and Safety in the workplace.
The course is a three-day programme designed to outline the role and function of the Safety Representative and conforms to the guidance set out by the Health and Safety Authority and provides a comprehensive foundation to Health and Safety.
